Some authors loathe revising and editing and others actively enjoy it. Some authors seem to think that writing requires heavy revisions and others do not. Both Byron and C.S. Lewis are famous for editing their work very minimally. Below are nine different authors on their approaches to editing their work. Even though I dread editing, and revise a great deal, my personal favorite quote is the last one.
