Authors of fiction and creative nonfiction may submit up to 4,000 words. Hotel also accepts excerpts from longer works, as well as flash fiction. Poets may submit up to four pages of poetry. Authors may also submit pitches for non-academic essays, interviews, fragments, and though pieces about the literary arts.

All submissions are considered for Hotel’s online archives. Accepted submissions are also occasionally published in Hotel’s print journal and considered for other print projects.
